Becca Devenish

Becca Devenish, born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, spent most of her life in BC, Canada. Her creative endeavors, in her early years, involved fashion design, painting and photography. In 2010 she received a diploma in Fashion Design at the Okanagan Fashion Institute. In ensuing years, after a reintroduction to pottery wheel throwing, she fell in love with ceramics. She then moved to Nova Scotia in 2018 to continue her explorations in art
making at NSCAD University and is currently still studying there. Although Devenish is a multidisciplinary artist, her primary explorations involve clay and mixed material reactions with fired clay bodies.
