Vibrant colour, lively texture, and bold patterns encompass my practice. My current work utilizes the pottery wheel to “draw” shapes that will be disassembled and then reassembled; built and deconstructed; and attached and cut apart to invent new shapes and new paths for colour and line to travel. This process is describing a way of creating 3-dimensional abstract drawings. My creations explore ideas around movement (physical,emotional, and spiritual), play and considerations around neuro-divergent thinking. Clay and, at times, textile mediums are currently used to create these 3-dimensional intuitive experiences.
